Homesteaders Life Co. is offering a free video download to help funeral professionals host virtual holiday memorial services. The video, created by grief expert Jason Troyer, is called “Grieving During the Holidays” and features a message of comfort for client families as well as practical strategies for coping with grief. “As funeral professionals know, the holiday season can be especially challenging for those who have recently lost a family member,” Troyer said. “While in-person memorial services may not be possible this year, we wanted to give funeral professionals a way to connect with their community.” The free download is offered through Homesteaders’ Finding Resilience program, which the West Des Moines-based mutual insurer launched in 2018 to address funeral professional career burnout.
