Principal Financial Group is inviting finance professionals, software developers, business owners and entrepreneurs to join its Principal Innovation Challenge Hackathon. The goal of the hackathon is to create virtual communities where small to medium-sized businesses can connect with each other as well as Principal to discuss their challenges and find guidance and mentorship. Participating professionals will select one of four challenges to creating a virtual community and work on a team to build out a solution. The award for best project is $15,000. The hackathon is open to residents of the U.S. and India, and the deadline to register is May 2.
