Butland leaving Iowa EdTech Collaborative

Iowa EdTech Collaborative Executive Director Mark Butland is leaving the organization for a new role in San Diego, according to an announcement sent via email on Tuesday. His last day is May 12. ACT releases new Mosaic distance learning platform

ACT, based in Iowa City, has released a new distance learning product called Mosaic to provide educators, students and families online learning tools and services for the classroom and at home, ACT announced last week. Kuder Navigator named Career Readiness Solution of the Year by EdTech Breakthrough

Two startup accelerators announce 2020 cohort members

Two startup accelerators announced inaugural teams for their 2020 cohorts this week.  BrokerTech Ventures of Des Moines and Iowa EdTech Accelerator of Iowa City will both welcome startup founders on March 2 as founders begin the five-week program for BrokerTech and 14-week program for Iowa EdTech.  Twelve BrokerTech Ventures startups will operate in Gravitate Coworking downtown. Registration, keynote speaker announced for ISU Innovation Prize

Entrepreneur Brian McClendon will give the keynote address at Iowa State University’s ISU Innovation Prize on Friday, April 5 in the Alliant Energy/Lee Liu Auditorium in Howe Hall, ISU announced this week.
