Iowa Lean Consortium calls for presentations at annual conference

The Iowa Lean Consortium is inviting presenters to submit proposals for breakout presentations at its 2025 Annual Conference on Oct. 23 in Altoona. Each year, the ILC Conference attracts hundreds of continuous improvement practitioners, leaders, change agents and their teams from all sectors of the economy, the announcement said. The ILC seeks breakout presentations that align with the principles of Lean: continuous improvement, change management and/or enterprise transformation. Lean Techniques receives SOC 2 Type II compliance

Lean Techniques, a technology and management consultancy based in Johnston, announced it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance. SOC 2 is a framework developed by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants that reports on the controls a service organization has in place related to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. Through the audit process, an independent third-party auditor certifies that an organization’s security controls meet industry standards.

Lean TECHniques hosting inaugural Tech Trek Bike Ride May 10

Lean TECHniques will host its first Tech Trek Bike Ride, an event for cycling enthusiasts and casual riders in Waukee on May 10. There is an option of a 24-mile or 12-mile ride, both along the Raccoon River Valley Trail, followed by a happy hour. Iowa ABI, Lean TECHniques holding webinar on digital transformation in manufacturing
