The Technology Association of Iowa has announced its 2024 state and federal legislative priorities. Several of the industry association’s state-level priorities remained the same from 2023, including connectivity, cybersecurity, data privacy and business growth. TAI to kick off new Artificial Intelligence Roundtable
The Technology Association of Iowa has established an Artificial Intelligence Roundtable, a newly created discussion group for TAI member companies that are applying, supporting and teaching artificial intelligence technologies. The roundtable focuses on participant’s businesses, technical concerns, opportunities, challenges and strategies. The roundtable’s first meeting will be held virtually from 1-2 p.m. Dec. 13. TAI accepting nominations for 2023 Prometheus Awards
The Technology Association of Iowa is now accepting nominations for its 2023 Prometheus Awards. The award categories cover organization and individual awards as well as the Technology Community of the Year. Nominations close Aug. 11 and finalists will be announced mid-September. Gov. Kim Reynolds has signed two bills into law that were priorities of the Technology Association of Iowa this legislative session. House File 553 aims to encourage companies to enhance their cybersecurity measures for safeguarding both their operations and customers against cyberattacks.
