Per Mar Security Services, parent company of Midwest Alarm Services, has acquired NECO Security based in Lincoln, Neb. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. NECO Security was founded by Don Nielsen in 1957, and specializes in residential and commercial burglar and fire alarm systems in the Lincoln area. “The Nielsen family has built a great company in Lincoln through years of hard work and excellent service,” Brian Duffy, Per Mar’s chief operating officer, said in a statement. NECO Security’s project manager, Bill Thomas, and its technicians will be joining Midwest Alarm Services and will serve customers out of Per Mar’s and Midwest Alarm Services’ Lincoln office. Based in Davenport, Per Mar is a family-owned company with more than 2,400 team members, operating in 23 branch locations and 17 satellite locations.
