Fourteen Iowa employers will receive a combined $244,100 from the Future Ready Iowa Employer Innovation Fund, a matching grant that helps employers provide postsecondary training and education opportunities for their staff, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced Tuesday. With this third round of grants, the Employer Innovation Fund has allocated $1.2 million to 49 awardees across the state, Reynolds said. Awardees for the new round are: Hope Haven Area Development Center, Optimae LifeServices Inc., Good Neighbor Society, Sukup Manufacturing Co., Goodwill of the Heartland, Goodwill of Central Iowa, Mid-Iowa Council of Boy Scouts of America, Mount Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance, One City United, Iowa iJAG Inc., Iowa Specialty Hospital, Willis Dady Emergency Shelter, Matthew 25 – Cedar Rapids and Iowa Skilled Trades.
