Philip Groner, a 20-year employee of the Iowa Communications Network and executive director since 2018, has died after a battle with cancer, ICN announced today. “His passing is a great loss to the State of Iowa and the customers that he loyally served. The Iowa Telecommunications and Technology Commission and the ICN extend our deepest condolences to his wife Allyson and their two sons,” ICN said in a statement.
