DMACC and Microsoft are co-hosting a free “Careers 4 Women in Technology” virtual event available to young women interested in pursuing a career in technology, DMACC announced this week. The event will be held Oct. 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the Microsoft Teams app. A panel of five women who have built careers working in technology will discuss their current positions and how they embarked on their career pathways; panelists are Kat Roney, network acquisition specialist at Microsoft; Pepsy Wirth, chief of staff at Xbox Compliance; Charity Coates, data center campus director at Microsoft; Becky Hendricks, senior manager problem/performance management and network operations management, Mediacom; and Martina Schubert, chief technical officer of LenderClose. Attendance is free, but registration is required by Oct. 9.
