The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is urging consumers to be vigilant if they receive unsolicited calls or emails referring to purchases, deliveries, gift cards or other issues involving Amazon or other retailers this season. Iowans with and without Amazon accounts are reporting unwanted calls and emails. Iowans who think they’ve been scammed may contact their local law enforcement agency or the Iowa Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division.
