TrustLayer, a graduate of BrokerTech Ventures’ 2020 accelerator program, announced on Aug. 18 it raised $15.1 million in a Series A funding round. The risk management platform is working to automate the insurance verification process for businesses to save time, reduce administrative costs and correct errors in the previously used manual process. Robotic process automation is used to automate verification securely. Since completing the 2020 accelerator, TrustLayer has seen growth in industries such as construction and property management and gained wide industry support, including that of BrokerTech’s member insurance agencies and companies.
