The Technology Association of Iowa has hired Nicole Barreca Prenger as its director of communications and public relations. “It is an incredible honor and privilege to join the Technology Association of Iowa,” Barreca Prenger said in a press release. “Throughout my career I have worked to elevate the voices and achievements of those who deserve recognition and the technology industry is no different. I am excited to work with the team at TAI and continue to tell stories of innovation.” For the last decade, Barreca Prenger worked for the World Food Prize Foundation overseeing the communications division and producing conferences for an international audience. She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and graphic journalism from Grand View University in 2012 and graduated from Drake University in 2015 with a master’s in communication leadership. She was also a member of the 2020 Business Record Forty Under 40 class.
