Coherent, a global software-as-a-service provider with a Des Moines presence, has announced it has closed a $75 million Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to date to $89 million. Coherent Spark, the company’s primary product, converts business logic within spreadsheets into an Application Programming Interface that can connect with front and back-end software applications and streamlines manual processes that often involve coding. The new investment will help the company grow its product and add to sales teams in the U.S. and Asia-Pacific region as well as add new service partners. Coherent CEO John Brisco presented at the InsurTech Days event in 2021 and shared more about the company.
