Bunker Labs Des Moines recently announced the graduation of four Central Iowa veterans from its Veterans in Residence (ViR) Program, an initiative that is offered nationwide. According to a news release, ViR is a six-month, early-stage business incubator that provides veteran and military family member entrepreneurs with business education, coworking space, a local entrepreneurial community and a national business network. “Veterans have an extraordinary skill set and life experiences that make them great entrepreneurs and business owners,” Bernie Stone, Bunker Labs DSM ambassador and VIR lead implementer, said in the release. “In partnership with Gravitate Coworking, this program provided these Iowa veterans with a strong support system and tools to achieve significant growth and enhance the likelihood of their business being a success.” New cohorts launch every January and July.
The four graduates are:
James Bierly – Secure Point Solutions, Navy.Jared Green – Concrete Craft of Des Moines, Navy.Adam Hass – Service Gopher, Marine Corp/Army.Jennifer Smith – Dangerous Leader Group, Army.
