America’s Cultivation Corridor is accepting applications from international startups and entrepreneurs for its 2024 Cultivo Virtual Academy cohorts. The next cohort, planned for April-May, will focus on companies in the Americas that are outside the U.S., Australia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations region. Future cohorts will focus on Europe, Africa and Eastern Mediterranean regions, a news release said. The six-week virtual program aims to prepare global scale-up companies for entry into the U.S. ag, food or bioscience markets and connect them to Iowa leaders, researchers and farmers. Doug Moore, founder of Highland Group, will serve as business leader-in-residence throughout the program. The deadline to apply for the April cohort is March 1.
