Greater Iowa City Inc. has completed renovations on Merge, a coworking space it operates, and announced an expanded mission and programs. The coworking space will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the renovated space on Aug. 7 from 5-6:30 p.m. at its location at 136 S. Dubuque Street in Iowa City. To attend, register here. According to a news release, Greater IC will expand Merge’s space and services to local companies of “all stages and sizes,” including entrepreneurs and startups. Greater IC is a network of business and public sector leaders collaborating to support local companies, guide investment and grow a resilient economy. The organization was formed by the 2023 merger of Iowa City Area Development and Iowa City Area Business Partnership.
