InnoVenture Iowa is now accepting applications for its third annual InnoVenture Challenge, a pitch competition that awards $100,000 to one early-stage Iowa startup.
The application window closes at 5 p.m. Sept. 30.
Judges will select 10 semi-finalists from the pool of applicants, which will then be narrowed to three finalists who pitch to a panel of judges at a live event. This year’s event will be held on Dec. 5 in Des Moines.
This year, the 10 semi-finalists will have an opportunity to pitch their business in front of venture capitalists from across the Midwest at an invitation-only mixer.

InnoVenture Iowa is also holding a four-part webinar series throughout the month of September covering the process of applying and preparing for the InnoVenture Challenge. The second session on creating an application will be held today at 2 p.m. The last two sessions will be on Sept. 16 and 19.
Those who can’t attend can still register and receive a video recording of the webinar after the event. To register, visit the event page.
