The application window is now open for a new round of Rural Innovation Grants. This round of grants, called Boost for Business, will have three different focus areas to support innovation for rural Iowa businesses: rural independent grocery stores, small food producers and second-stage growth companies. The deadline to apply for funding is 4 p.m. Oct. 25. The Rural Innovation Grant program is administered by the Center for Rural Revitalization, a division of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, in consultation with the Governor’s Empower Rural Iowa initiative task forces.
