Iowa City-based revology has announced a multiyear contract with Hancock Health to manage its revenue cycle management (RCM) operations, including a long-term contract for revology’s SaaS platform, auxo. Revology provides RCM technology and services for hospitals, health systems and physician groups. According to a news release, Hancock Health, an independent health care network in Indiana, expanded its partnership with revology after the company helped increase cash collections by $10 million. As part of the deal, more than 50 Hancock Health employees specializing in credentialing, coding, hospital and physician insurance and other areas will become revology employees this month, the release said. Revology’s platform auxo uses advanced analytics to improve the claims follow-up process by focusing on the highest-value claims and consolidating electronic health records and payor website information into a single workspace. “In a short time, revology — and its RCM technology, auxo — have identified opportunities to better manage our workforce and have adjusted workflows, bringing transparency and increased productivity that we never had previously,” said Steve Long, Hancock Health president and CEO, in a prepared statement.
