The Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship and the Ivy College of Business have received an award for exceptional contributions to entrepreneurship research from the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC). The GCEC is an academic organization for university-based entrepreneurship centers. According to a news release, the award recognizes the research produced by Ivy College of Business faculty in collaboration with entrepreneurship faculty and leaders across Iowa State’s colleges and divisions, as well as initiatives developed in partnership with the Pappajohn Center, including the Pappajohn Center Faculty Fellow Program. Through the program, faculty members participate in Pappajohn Center programming and serve as a liaison between the center and the college to support collaboration and mutually beneficial opportunities. In 2022, the ISU Pappajohn Center was named a GCEC Nasdaq Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
