The Iowa Lean Consortium is inviting presenters to submit proposals for breakout presentations at its 2025 Annual Conference on Oct. 23 in Altoona. Each year, the ILC Conference attracts hundreds of continuous improvement practitioners, leaders, change agents and their teams from all sectors of the economy, the announcement said. The ILC seeks breakout presentations that align with the principles of Lean: continuous improvement, change management and/or enterprise transformation. Priority will be given to proposals that not only provide actionable takeaways for attendees to implement immediately, but also share first-hand experiences, case studies and personal Lean journeys.
This year, the ILC is interested in presentations that highlight:
- Real-world case studies of Lean/CI in action.
- Lessons learned from successful (or failed) projects/transformations.
- Engaging stories of culture change and leadership development.
- Practical tools and approaches that drive measurable results.
- Innovations in problem-solving, coaching, or strategy deployment.
- Digital Lean tools or studies of Lean in hybrid/remote environments.
Breakout sessions are 60 minutes long with 50 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A.
Deadline for submissions is June 16 at 11:59 p.m. All who submit a proposal will be notified of presentation status by July 25. To submit a proposal, click here.
