Wyffels Hybrids, an Ames-based seed company focused on corn, has announced a new collaboration with Iowa State University Extension and Outreach on a four-part event series titled “Between the Rows – In Field Edition.” Hosted at Wyffels’ newly opened production facility in Ames, the event series aims to bring agricultural insights directly to farmers through hands-on experience and observation from industry experts. Sessions will cover a range of topics, from crop and pest diagnostics and fertility management to hybrid performance and agronomic best practices. The first event is June 10 from 4-7 p.m., with subsequent events on July 15, Aug. 19 and Sept. 9. The events are open to farmers, agricultural professionals and industry stakeholders interested in insights from both private-sector innovation and academic research.
