Bison Equity Group, a private equity firm, is relocating its office from 31st Street and Ingersoll Avenue to the 801 Grand Principal building, said Steve Walsh, founder and CEO. The move is expected to be complete by September, he said. It is inspired by Walsh’s belief that “downtown is ready to take off,” combined with the amenities in the 801 Grand building, such as a gym and underground parking. “We’re excited about coming to downtown,” Walsh said.” And I think there’s the energy down there. I think we’re starting to see a lot more happening downtown, and I’m really excited about it.”
