Kathy Kay, executive vice president and chief information officer at Principal Financial Group has been named to the 2026 CIO Hall of Fame. Induction into the CIO Hall of Fame is one of the profession’s highest distinctions, recognizing leaders who have shaped the practice of IT leadership and supported the next generation of CIOs. This honor celebrates current CIOs (or other C-level technology executives) with a proven track record of 10 to 15 years in the role, leading IT strategy in midsize to large enterprises. Kay will be recognized at the CIO 100 Awards & Conference, in August.
