The Iowa Finance Authority and the Iowa Association of Realtors has announced the inaugural Iowa Homeownership Incubator, which will challenge Iowa lending institutions and real estate professionals to consider innovative ways to advance financial literacy around homeownership. A lending institution or real estate company must partner with a community organization or business to participate. The winning pitch will receive $20,000 to implement to educate Iowans about financial literacy as it relates to homeownership and assistance programs. Proposals will be accepted through Aug. 15 and finalists will pitch their ideas on Sept. 7 at the HousingIowa Conference. More information is available on housingiowaconference.com.
