In 10 years … Currently, Iowa women hold 25 percent of top leadership roles in private, for-profit companies. It’s even less, 22 percent, in publicly traded companies. IWLC has set a goal of 30 percent female senior leadership across the board by 2028. The creation of formal and informal male ally, sponsorship/mentorship programs will accelerate progress. Men will lead the charge alongside their female colleagues.
