Liberal arts school Loras College will be the first Iowa school to host DataFest, a national undergraduate data analytics competition, from April 13-15 on campus, the school announced Friday. Teams of five undergraduate students will compete during 48 hours in categories from Best in Show, Best Visualization and best Use of External Data, judged by regional experts in analytics. More than 2,000 students take part yearly.
