A new makerspace at the Des Moines Area Community College West Des Moines Campus will host a free grand opening on June 13, from 3 to 6 p.m. The makerspace is designed for all ages to brainstorm and build on ideas, experimenting with electronics, robotics, digital communications, 3-D printing and more. “The DMACC West Des Moines Campus is all about innovation and this new makerspace is an extension of creating and inventing,” said DMACC West Campus Provost Dr. Anthony Paustian.
