Iowans can experience their state in news ways during Iowa Public Television’s new three-part series, Iowa Land and Sky. This limited series uses aerial drone cinematography to bring a unique bird’s-eye perspective of the state’s landforms, waterways and towns from the Loess Hills in western Iowa to the eastern Mississippi River border. Episodes will air Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.: Loess Hills and Prairies on April 24 and 27; The Mississippi River May 1 and 4; and Iowa Cities, Towns and Waterways May 8 and 11.
