Peter Hong has been named director of the Iowa State University Startup Factory program effective Feb. 1, the Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship announced Wednesday. Hong was selected after a regional search, and succeeds Bill Adamowski, the Startup Factory’s inaugural president, and Kris Johansen, interim director since Adamowski resigned in February. The Startup Factory operates as part of the ISU Pappajohn Center within the university’s Economic Development and Industry Relations (EDIR) organization.
