The Office of the Chief Information Officer announced on Twitter on July 8 that Matt Behrens will serve as the state’s chief information officer. He had been serving as interim CIO since the departure of Annette Dunn in October 2021. Previously, Behrens also held the role of deputy CIO. The Office of the Chief Information Officer was created as an independent agency to lead and provide accountability for the information technology resources of the state government.
