The Global Insurance Accelerator has announced it is adding a new role of alumni director to its staff. “The creation of this role represents a key strategic decision on behalf of the GIA and our board as we look to continually evolve and improve our continuing support model beyond our 100-day program,” said Managing Director Dan Israel.

The alumni director will work with Israel and the GIA’s program manger, Jess Louis, to “design and execute a more comprehensive alumni support model,” Israel wrote in a blog post. The role will also involve creating new partnerships with post-program partners and supporting alumni of the accelerators in their long-term growth and by helping them find new investors. The anticipated start date for the position is winter 2022. More information on how to apply is available on GIA’s website.
