The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced several keynotes for the third annual Athene Black and Brown Business Summit presented by Wells Fargo. Wealth strategist Pamela Jolly will be the keynote speaker. Jolly also gave the keynote address at the 2022 event. Additional national speakers include real estate expert Shawn Goldstein, finance leader and triathlete Maurice Wills, television executive Douglas Holloway, Fortune 500 leader Malcolm Ellis, and Rod Johnson and Pernell Cezar of Des Moines-based BLK & Bold Specialty Beverages. According to a news release, the April 20-21 event’s goal is to advance people of color in the business community nationwide and position Iowa as the best place in the nation to start and lead a minority business.
