Cedar Rapids-based Involta has hired Michael Joffe as vice president of channel to elevate the firm’s channel partner program. Channel partnerships are strategic alliances between businesses that meet mutual goals and offer advantages. Joffe brings more than 20 years of experience across the digital infrastructure and technology industries and experience in building strategic channel partner programs. “Michael’s proven channel success, combined with his keen ability to incubate, launch and scale revenue, makes him a key addition to Involta’s leadership team, especially as we continue our rapid growth trajectory and explore new markets,” Jim Buie, president and CEO of Involta, said in a prepared statement. Most recently, Joffe was global director of strategic alliances at Genesys, where he was responsible for key software-as-a-service partnerships resulting in substantial direct pipeline revenue. Joffe has previously held channel partner-focused roles at technology companies including Lumen, Cisco Systems and Microsoft. Joffe said he looks forward to exploring how to make Involta’s products “even more channel and partner-friendly.” More information about Involta’s strategic partnerships is available on the company’s website.
