The Iowa State University Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship and America’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Iowa will host the third annual Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference on May 3-4. Veterans, active duty, reserve military, National Guard, military families, and their business partners are invited to attend the event. In addition to workshops and networking sessions, Allen Lazard, Iowa native, NFL player and founder of At the Top for Vets will give the keynote address. The conference is free to attend this year due to contributions from Lazard’s foundation, but limited spots are available. The conference also includes an optional virtual pitch workshop on April 24, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., in preparation for the two pitch competitions that will both be held on May 3, from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. For more information and to register, visit isupjcenter.org.
