The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce has announced Kely Nascimento, co-founder and chief impact officer of Hadaf Global, will be a keynote speaker at the 2025 Athene Black and Brown Business Summit. Hadaf Global is a consultancy firm focused on sports diplomacy. According to a news release, Nascimento’s work focuses on on fostering cultural connections, building international partnerships and advancing sustainable development within sports. She has also produced and directed “Warriors of a Beautiful Game,” a feature documentary on women’s soccer that will be released this year. She serves on the advisory boards for Global Goals World Cup, the True Athlete Project, LEAD Africa and Gondwana FC, and is on the board of directors for the Beyond Sport Foundation. Nascimento also serves as an ambassador for Laureus Sports for Good. The summit is on April 16-17 at the Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel. More information and registration is available here.
