The New Bohemian Innovation Collaborative Inc., or NewBoCo, has announced a series of grants and donations received in late 2025 and early 2026. A major portion of this funding comes from Google’s support over the last year. In late 2025, Google provided foundational support for NewBoCo’s CoderDojo and Girls Who Code clubs. Google also gave funding for Computer Science Professional Development Week, Summer Code Camp, ENTREFest, Iowa Startup Accelerator Spring Demo Day, and the NewBoCo Startup Sprint. In addition to Google’s support, ENTREFest 2026, a regional conference for entrepreneurs and creatives, has received local support from Hy-Vee, Quick Action Accounting and Nyemaster Goode, Renew Rural Iowa and the city of Iowa City. Van Meter Inc. is funding NewBoCo’s Quarterly Entrepreneur Luncheons, providing a space for local founders to connect and share resources.
