The Great Outdoors Foundation has announced the launch of Convergence: The Conservation Ag Accelerator, a pitch competition designed to advance innovative solutions at the intersection of agriculture and conservation. Convergence is part of the Athene Watershed26 conference, taking place June 30–July 1. Convergence aims to bring together entrepreneurs, farmers and industry leaders to identify and accelerate solutions that improve soil health, enhance water quality and drive conservation outcomes across agricultural landscapes, a news release said. Applicants can range from early pilots to scaling enterprises. Solutions will be evaluated based on their ability to deliver environmental impact. After a review process, three finalists will be selected to present live at the conference. The winning pitch will receive a $50,000 grant to support continued growth and scaling. Applications are open now through June 1.
