Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield has been named a 2026 Foundry CIO 100 award winner. For more than 40 years, the CIO 100 Awards have recognized innovative organizations that exemplify the highest level of strategic and operational excellence in IT, according to a press release.
Wellmark was recognized for its use of data and artificial intelligence to better connect business priorities with day-to-day work to improve overall agility.
“Foundry’s CIO 100 Award recognizes organizations that turn technology into real business impact,” said Kirstin Slepicka, Wellmark’s chief technology officer, in a prepared statement. “This recognition affirms how our team uses data to guide complex decisions, work smarter and stay focused on improvements that will create lasting value for our members and clients.”
