The 2019 Future Ready Iowa Summit, titled “STEM Education and Workplace Partnerships,” takes place April 30 at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced Wednesday. The event is hosted by the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council. Keynote speakers are Pallavi Verma, senior managing director U.S.-Midwest at Accenture, and Reynolds, who will announce the names of six high-poverty elementary schools that will receive a total of $300,000 in grants ($50,000 each) as part of the Computer Science is Elementary project
