A local after-school program for refugee students has been awarded a $15,000 grant by AT&T. Pi515 confirmed the grant in a tweet Monday morning. Pi515 is a nonprofit after-school coding initiative aimed at building STEM skills in refugee and underserved youth in Des Moines, and building the state’s future technology workforce.
The Dwolla-sponsored event Monetery raised $10,265 for an after-school coding education program, Dwolla announced on Tuesday.
