Paragon IT Professionals announced this week that the annual IT Leadership Forum Charity Golf Tournament raised more than $100,000 to fund scholarships for Iowa students in STEM fields. The IT Leadership Forum Scholarship application process will open in 2019 and provide 18 additional $1,000 scholarships to students attending Iowa universities, Paragon representatives said. The golf tournament began six years ago when Paragon co-owner Joel Jackman sought to encourage local students to stay in Iowa for education and careers. “Paragon and our IT Leadership Forum member companies are in this for the long haul, so they appreciate that we’re driving our support down to the grassroots level,” Jackman said in a statement.
