Mason City manufacturer Metalcraft named Kyle Bermel as its new president, with Steve Doerfler remaining as CEO. Bermel started with Metalcraft in 2012 as a radio-frequency identification engineer, and he served as chief operating officer for the last two years before becoming president. The leadership change comes as Metalcraft is serving a growing market with its property ID solutions, a release said. “Today I’m grateful for the confidence of our board and member-owners in my ability to help lead Metalcraft,” Bermel said. “It’s been rewarding to serve a strong, innovative, growing company; I know we have experience, and expertise company-wide to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
