Funds managed by investor firm Carlyle Group have completed the acquisition of Cedar Rapids-based data center provider Involta.“The investment positions us to build on our national market leadership while remaining committed to our customers in our current markets,” Bruce Lehrman, Involta founder and CEO, said in a release. “We look forward to leveraging additional capital to strengthen and expand our data center and solution portfolio to support the growing digital infrastructure requirements of enterprise businesses across the country.” According to the release, Involta will continue to provide hybrid IT, cloud computing and data center services while accelerating talent development. The acquisition was announced in December.
