The Global Insurance Accelerator is now accepting applications for its ninth accelerator program, incoming Managing Director Dan Israel announced in a blog post. “While change is occurring in the leadership of the GIA, our 100-day program, our mentors, and our insurance carrier investors all remain focused on helping amazing founders, teams, and insurtech companies reach their full potential,” Israel wrote.

The 100-day program provides early-stage insurtech companies seed funding, networking with mentors and support. The GIA is using a hybrid model again for this year’s accelerator, with founders starting and ending the program in Des Moines with a virtual portion in between. Applications close Sept. 23.
