A fraudulent website mirroring Iowa Workforce Development’s claims portal is attempting to collect personal information from Iowans, IWD announced this week. Iowans applying for unemployment insurance benefits should only file an application through the official IWD website: www.iowaworkforcedevelopment.gov. Iowa AG warns of spam calls, emails regarding Amazon accounts
The Iowa Attorney General’s Office is urging consumers to be vigilant if they receive unsolicited calls or emails referring to purchases, deliveries, gift cards or other issues involving Amazon or other retailers this season. Iowans with and without Amazon accounts are reporting unwanted calls and emails.
